Security Pen - These pens were produced from the early 1920s until the mid to late 1930s. The Securograph Pen Company was owned by John and George Kritikson and it was located in Mount Carmel, Illinois. In May of 1919 they moved to Oakland City, Indiana and changed the name to The Security Pen Company.

These are well made pens that compare favorably with the other pens of the day. They are twist fillers and many have a check protector in the cap. The check protectors are also found as individual items. Black hard rubber is the most common but they also come in red hard rubber,  mottled hard rubber, and a few in plastic. The correct nib is marked Security but most seem to be found with warranted nibs.
