The first new design after the move to Long Island streamlined the pen a little. It also moved the filler to the back of the pen that made the pen look more balanced. The change in the filler also made it easier to fill the pen since you could hold on the body of the pen when filling. The Long Island models are made of plastic in a wide array of colors. Chilton also made desk sets during this period.
