Flat Top Pens
Streamlined Pens

Conklin used a number of interesting plastics in their pens. They tended to use standard colors in their top of the line pens the lower end pens were made from everything imaginable. Some of the pens are made of plastics that are obviously obsolete patterns. Others seem to be trial runs. They also tried out a number of different filling systems on these pens. All in all this makes for some very unique items and a wonderful basis for a collection.

Conklin used a lever pin that is pushed through the side of the pen. There is not that much plastic to hold it in so they frequently are split above that pin. These pins are often broken completely out. It is difficult to fill the area with matching plastics. These pens have the typical rocker clip problem. The Clips break off when the steel rust in too.
