Wahl-Eversharp was created in 1914 when the Wahl adding machine company bought the Ever-Sharp Pencil Company. They initially only produced mechanical pencils but in 1917 they bought the Boston Fountain Pen Company and began producing fountain pens. They produced a wide variety of quality pens and pencils until 1957 when the writing instrument division was sold to Parker.
