Sheaffer repair manuals from this period were put together as they were needed. The actual content will vary a little depending on the most recent models being added and the older models being removed. It does not cover any of the Balance Pens or earlier models. This copy has a total of 141 pages and was pen dated on the cover "Received Feb 12, 1963". Many of the pages are dated from the late 1950's and ending in mid 1962.

The manual consist of four sections. Section "A" containing 9 pages. This tells how a dealer is to return parts or pens for repair. It also covers terminology and parts names.

Section "B" has 73 pages. Each has a picture of a pen model along with a parts list. The item number, list price and exchange price is included. The models include Touch Downs, Snorkles, and Cartridge models. Fountain pens and desk pens are included. The highlight is probably the six Pen For Men pens.

Section "C" has 26 pages. The main point to this section is repairs to various models. Most are for fountain pens but some information is on ballpoint repairs. Tells you how to take them apart, fix them and how to put them back together. Very detailed.

Section "D" has 27 pages. This section has pencil and ballpoint prices along with their parts and parts prices. Tools are pictured and priced and there are instructions on using many of them. The parts exchange policy is explained. There is several pages devoted to the policy of substituting new model pens for the older obsolete ones.

This manual is printed on plain copy paper. That is closer to the look and feel of the originals. They are printed on both sides of each sheet and include a colored separator between sections along with a cover resembling the original. It is spiral bound with plastic covers to protect the pages. This is a great item with a lot of great information
