I must admit that collecting the Federal Reserve Notes was an acquired taste. As I collected serial numbers I realized how rare most of these notes really are. High grade notes are difficult to find in most of the early series. Stars are scarce to rare for nearly all series. The early seal colors make for beautiful notes with a lot of varieties.
